Blue Knights U-16 Boys Advance to the State Cup Finals!

It was a hard fought battle! The first half of the game promised lots of excitement as the Impact players were very aggressive and did not seem willing to allow any shots on goal. In the meantime, they kept pressure on the Blue Knights and continued to drive the ball down the sidelines and across to our goalie. As luck would have it, they scored with approximately 5 minutes left in the half and the Blue Knights went to the sidelines down 1-0. After a good cheer, the second half started with the Blue Knights charging down the sidelines and demonstrating much better ball control. Soon into the period, they scored a goal making it a 1-1 tie. After what seemed like an eternity, the Knights found the net once again securing a 2-1 lead. Shortly thereafter, and for good measure, the Blue Knights scored a third goal to build a safety cushion that secured the win at 3-1.

Congratulations Blue Knights and good luck in the FINALS!!
